Hello John and Carolyn, the dome was a joy to build!   

You have an excellently engineered product. The dome calculator site was great. I built the silo dome with 4 foot blue struts, so it resulted in a 13 foot diameter dome. I used schedule 40 PVC pipes as well as schedule 40 PVC gray electrical conduit pipes that I had purchased a while back, that is why you see the different colors on the struts.  

I will use it to cover one of my frost sensitive tropical fruit trees with protective cloth. So far I had not had to cover the tree since there has not been frost this year yet, but I want to be prepared.  

I will most likely order 2 or more dome kits for additional trees that I would like to protect.   

I included a picture of the completed dome over the tree.
