Well, ZTD, here is the finished product! We ran out of stainless steel zip ties, but since we were on the top pentagon, I just used some really heavy plastic ones.
It has been holding just fine. We couldn't afford the fancy hubs for holding plastic, so we just taped/tied/stapled clear plastic over the dome.
Every Monday was a new adventure in "Weather vs the Dome". The tape dried up and fell off, the string was too thin, but the staples held pretty well. By mid-July it was too hot to play inside it. haha! We had a good time building it though.
