Thanks so much for shipping the extra zip ties and for such a comprehensive reply. I forwarded your sentiments to Chris, who I am sure will be excited. The "Fantastic Voyage" was just what we were going for! As for the white fabric, it was super stretchy lycra that I cut after stretching it across the dome.

This 13' tall, 16' wide Geodesic Silo Dome by Zip Tie Domes was used as a display for the annual retreat at the Wyss Institute at Harvard University.

The lycra fabric was stretched across the dome to represent platelets, white blood cells, and other activity inside the bloodstream.

This really looks like a scene from the movie "Fantastic Voyage".

The concept, design, and artwork was created by Anna Rock and Chris Johnson for the Harvard retreat.

The purpose of the artwork was to help explain the structures found inside the bloodstream, as described in this image:

Microscopic platelets and other structures inside the bloodstream.
