We spoke a couple of weeks ago regarding the 2 Frequency Geodesic Dome 6" hubs I purchased. I mentioned that I will be working with bamboo materials for the struts.

Attached are some progress photos which might be of interest. I'm currently building this in the Philippines.

I learned as I go that the bamboo doesn't have a uniform outside diameter at both ends -- it tapers. However, I was still able to work with the material and build a 16' 2V Dome. Do you think this will affect the structural integrity of the dome. In the enlarged picture of the connection at the hub, you will see some gaps in the opening of the hub. Is it better to fill this gap with material?

There were 2 of us building it and we finished it in about 4 hours.
