Well my dome has been an education. First I should say that the dome went together well, and I think you have a great product. As with many things in life, the second
time you do something, you have learned and would do a few things differently. The 5/8 dome is very tall. I would not recommend putting the film covering on the outside.
It is hard to manage and if it comes loose at one of the hubs it is practically impossible to get to without a crane. For some reason this year around here we have had incredible winds with
gusts probably clocking 50 60 MPH. With that being said, it has stayed put and really suffered very little damage considering the conditions. I've had some things come up with my schedule
and I haven't been able to spend the time with it that I would like to. I am still getting it into operation. Good product and design though. If you want to send me a shirt it would be a large.
